I've Fallen in Love...

I've never been much of a tv watcher.

I enjoy movies, reading, being outside...so much so that I didn't really consider purchasing a television when I moved to the UK. My hour of tube time takes place at the gym.

Yesterday, I walked in on two meatheads watching a girly cooking show.
I smiled and thought, ha…this is something to remember…but today, my friends, is a day I’ll never forget.

I fell in love on the treadmill.

His name is Peter Reed and he looks like this…

...and this is what we look like together.

Love at first sight? I think yes.

In order to confirm that what my eyes were seeing was/is authentic love, I decided to have a look at an article (thank you Google) on lovetracker.com…only because the World Wide Web knows best.

Top Three Ways to Know it’s Love at First Sight

1. You don’t want to rush things
This is an unmistakable indication that the feelings you have aren’t just “Lust at First Sight.” If the first thought in your mind is getting physical, then it probably isn’t love. But if you have an overwhelming urge to get to know the person and take things slowly so they work out, you may be dealing with something much deeper.

MB’s response: Our relationship is already physical…he’s a rower, I’m a runner.

2. You see things in them that other people don’t
A person’s attractive physical qualities are something that anyone can see and appreciate, but falling in love with someone means noticing qualities in them that no one else can see. If you find yourself noticing attractive qualities of a new person that your friends are blind to, you may be experiencing Love at First Sight.

MB’s response: Tall, attractive, great voice...is this a quiz? Because I think I’m failing…

3. You want to learn everything you can about them
This is a tricky indicator, because it’s also present in pure infatuation, too . . . so be careful. Falling in love with someone means wanting to know about everything that makes them tick, from their likes and dislikes to their life experiences. Just be willing to learn about them slowly, be understanding, and let Love at First Sight develop into a lifelong romance!

MB’s response: I lose. However, I do know three things: his name is Peter Reed, he rows for Great Britain, and I likee.

I say, this is a move up from the mystery men...this one's got a name.
